F.A.Q

  1. Can any event be submitted? - The event has to takes place in or near Richmond, Indiana. Generally, events take place in a public or business location and are open to the community, free or ticketed. Richmond.FYI reserves the right to accept or reject events at its discretion.

  2. What event are not allowed to be submitted?

    1. Political or campaign events are not allowed. Richmond.FYI’s goal is to promote the community, neighborhoods, and local businesses of Richmond.

    2. No private Yard Sales, MLMs, discount events, solicitations, or internet sales. (Example: Offering a $1 off pizza on Saturday nights would not count.)

    3. Church or religious event submissions has to be open to the whole community not just for the congregation. (Example: Pizza Party & Jazz Night at Jack Elstro Plaza would be allowed, the annual church revival would not count.)

    4. Fundraisers will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Annual Dinners, 5K and Golf outings are typically fine if they are ran by a local organization.

  3. How late can I submit? - Events should be submitted at least 14 days (Two full weeks) before the event date.

  4. Why isn’t my event showing up? - Website updates are scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays. All submissions are reviewed before posting. HometownRichmond.com reserves the right to accept or reject events at its discretion.
